Founder’s Note
We started Lyvona because we saw how confusing and overwhelming healthcare can be—especially during life's most vulnerable moments. Medical bills are deliberately complex. Health advice is contradictory. Insurance is a maze. The system isn't broken; it's designed this way. As healthcare professionals and technologists, we watched patients struggle to understand their care, question their bills, and feel alone in making critical health decisions. We knew there had to be a better way. So we built Lyvona: a platform that combines three things that should have always existed together—community support from people who understand, AI-powered health education that's actually trustworthy, and cost transparency tools that decode what you're really paying for. We're starting with moms navigating pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenting because they face some of healthcare's most intense and expensive moments. But our mission is bigger: make healthcare understandable for everyone, one transparent answer at a time.
